Ever wanted to know what blogging platform one website is using? How about the version of the script?

I always wondered what version of WordPress Matt Cutts is using, and I think I’m not the only one. His blog has a lot of traffic and not everybody likes him that much so that’s why the blog is probably a frequent target for WordPress exploits.

By default, WordPress outputs it’s version in the header of every page like this:

<meta name=”generator” content=”WordPress 2.6.2″ /><!– leave this for stats –>

Some webmasters prefer to remove it completly, or just the version numbers. Matt chose to remove the numbering:

But this won’t stop us from determining hacking into his blog, because WordPress also outputs it’s script version in the feeds!
A-HA! We got you now, Mr. Cutts! ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!

So we click his blog’s feed link and… Drat! He uses FeedBurner!

There’s still hope! FeedBurner doesn’t serve feeds for individual potsts – comments feeds! So we go on one of his lovely off-topic posts and subscribe to the comments! EUREKA!

What a bummer! He’s using the latest version of WordPress ( 2.6.2 ) which has no publicly known exploits.
Anyway, these are some of the easyest methods to find out WordPress versions. Good luck!

Hello!

It’s been a while since my last post around here, I just want to let you guys know what’s been keeping me busy.

The XML parser for LiveJasmin I was talking about a few months back is now up and running on my new girls only sex webcams website, budoar.org. It took me quite some time to polish the script, but I’m quite happy with the result. As you can see, the URL structure and the template has been created with SEO & design in mind. I already had my first AWEmpire sale worth $108 in comission from it, and also expecting the free Payoneer Mastercard from them for free.

There’s one thing I’m not happy with about budoar.org: Google doesn’t like the domain, because it used to be banned from their index, even though some pages are indexed now, it still has some sort of penalty. Anyway, MSN/Live likes it, I’m the no.1 for some good keywords such as live sex webcams. Hopefully more videochat sales will come in the future.
Link exchange hasn’t been going very well, many scammers in this topic (adult), only one serious person has permanently linked to me.

I also installed a click tracking script which generates a mouse click heatmap from visitors, and as you can see, many clicks are going to the exchanged “Free Porn Videos” link. I’m not happy with that, because no visitors come from his website to mine as my link on his page is near the bottom of the page, in the footer section.

Anyway, things are going pretty well, I just started a new adult webcams website, but this time with transgendered performers and I’m using drupal as the main CMS so that I can manage the content easyer. Drupal is also search engine optimized. I have used it with success on some pharmacy websites such as “Generic ED Products, Pharmacy Reviews“.

I have to go do another SEO test, until then:
Good day, good evening and good night!

Looks like there’s a problem with the Adobe Flash in Ubuntu. Even though I install it trough Add/Remove… or the Synaptic package manager, Mozilla Firefox still tells me I haven’t got the flash plugin installed. Weird situation. After doing some research on the web I found out that there’s a bug related to flashplugin-nonfree md5 hash value.

This will probably be fixed soon but for now, here is a simple, consistent workaround to this Ubuntu bug:

Download and install the Adobe Flash Player version 9.0.115 manually:

For 32bit/i386 computers: http://fr.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/multiverse/f/flashplugin-nonfree/flashplugin-nonfree_9.0.115.0ubuntu2_i386.deb

For 64bit/amd64 machines: http://launchpadlibrarian.net/10804892/flashplugin-nonfree_9.0.115.0ubuntu2_amd64.deb

Double click the .deb file, you may receive a “early version in the repositories” error, just ignore it and click the green V Install Package button.

Should produce something to the following output:

Selecting previously deselected package flashplugin-nonfree.
(Reading database … 91191 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking flashplugin-nonfree (from …/flashplugin-nonfree_9.0.115.0ubuntu2_i386.deb) …
Setting up flashplugin-nonfree (9.0.115.0ubuntu2) …

Downloading…
–13:24:02– http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/install_flash_player_9_linux.tar.gz

Now everything works, go watch those YouTube videos

PS: I’m sorry that this version of Adobe Flash (9.0.115) doesn’t work in Opera. I need to install an older one.

I see there is a promo tool called XML feed, does this contain all the livejasmin performers or just the online ones?

I need a XML file with all the performers you have so I can store it in a database, regardless of their status (online/offline).

Another question: Is there anothery way of determining the online status of a performer besides the picture url? I would prefer a text version, true/false, 0/1… From my tests, it takes about 25 seconds to determine the online status of 310 performers via pictures and store the status in my database, a XML file with all the performers name and status would be much faster.

Thanks for reading and answering.

Here is the response from a sexy webcam administrator (notice the spam keywords?) :

Hello Crevete,

The XML Feed contain only the online performers. We can’t give you XML file with all performers, you should use allonline XML and collect the performers in your DB.

Another answer:
You can get the online/offline performer informations in text version (1,2) put this code end of the url: template=text

http://www.livesexbar.com/online_status/?performerid=REPLACEWITHPERFORMERNAME&site=jsm&template=text

Regards Leslie.

Today I have received this wonderful envelope from Canonical LTD with two Ubuntu 7.10 CD’s inside. One for the 32-bit computer and the other for the 64-bit computer. Although by now I have already installed the Ubuntu Operating System on my laptop, these eye-catching seed-ee’s live for another purpose. You see, in the next few days, the information contained within them will spread like a network virus that replicates trough the human mind. It may already have infected my dad who saw them on my desk and could not contain his curiosity. He asked what they are and I explained to him: Free CD’s that contain a Free Computer Operating System called Ubuntu. He smiled and told me that he has yet to see a catch-free gift in his mailbox, he said “All I get is bills and lawsuit citations” then he asked: “Is it from a religious sect?”.

As we discussed on the Linux topic I switched to Gusty Gibbon and showed him around. He didn’t say if he likes it or not, probably because he’s a novice computer user, but one thing he asked me: “How much did we pay for XP?”.

Although I will not install it on his computer right now, the next time “XP” fails he will be glad to have Ubuntu instead.

It’s only a matter of time that my relatives will start using Linux over Windows, mostly because of the financial advantage. The cheapest Vista is $100, but we can compare Ubuntu to the Ultimate version which is about $400. I know the US dollar value is low these days but you can still buy a new computer with that amount of money. My two Ubuntu OS CD’s will show them the way… <strike>into</strike> err… out of the Matrix.

Without further <strike>due</strike> ado, here are the unpacking pictures (click to zoom, opens in a new window):

After just one week from placing my order on http://shipit.ubuntu.com/ the package arrived:

Ok, so today I was watching some videos of Andy McKee and Andrew White on YouTube and stumbled across the CanndyRat Records website which has an amazing Radio station. Well I don’t know about you but I like my music in Amarok so I peeked in the DOM source code to see where the superb sound waves are coming from. It turns out that this is not an actual radio but a small Flash app that plays MP3’s from this XML Playlist. Having a Linux box makes my life much easier to download those songs. I thought I’d share the download steps with you:
All I care about is music, just give me the MP3 songs list already!

Downloading the xml file:

$ wget http://www.candyrat.com/radio/radioxml.asp
--16:42:47-- http://www.candyrat.com/radio/radioxml.asp
=> `radioxml.asp'
Resolving www.candyrat.com... 68.178.170.138
Connecting to www.candyrat.com|68.178.170.138|:80... connected.

Filtering the MP3 files download links:

$ grep -i 'filename' radioxml.asp > songs.txt && sed 's/<filename>//' songs.txt > temp && sed 's/<\/filename>//' temp > songs.txt && rm -f temp

Now to download the files all you have to do is call Wget:

$ wget -i songs.txt

Enjoy!

If you don’t have UNIX, you should definitely consider it, or at least in stall some GNU tools like BASH, sed and Wget on your Windows system.

If you like the songs, please consider purchasing them. That’s it!

So I try to install Zend Studio 5.5.0 with Zend Platform on Ubuntu 7.10 – Gusty Gibbon. But after the IDE install was finished this error popped up:

The Zend Platform installation requires root privileges.

Ok, that’s an easy thing to do:

~$ sudo sh /home/name/ZendStudio-5.5.0/scripts/splatform_install.sh
sh: Can't open /home/name/ZendStudio-5.5.0/scripts/splatform_install.sh

What the fuck! Looks like they misspelled the freaking script name. Cd’ed into the dir and found out the real name was platform_install.sh . Here goes nothing:

~$ sudo sh /home/name/ZendStudio-5.5.0/scripts/platform_install.sh

The Zend Platform installation requires root privileges.
Please login as root, and run:
/home/name/ZendStudio-5.5.0/scripts/splatform_install.sh
Press ENTER to continue…

How stupid is this?! Sudo is root motherfucker! Now let’s try again this time with sudo su:

~$ sudo su
root@lap:/home/name/ZendStudio-5.5.0/scripts# sh platform_install.sh

The Zend Platform installation requires root privileges.
Please login as root, and run:
/home/name/ZendStudio-5.5.0/scripts/splatform_install.sh
Press ENTER to continue…

ARGH!!! Why oh why doesn’t this work in Ubuntu?

root@lap:/home/name/ZendStudio-5.5.0/scripts# gedit platform_install.sh#!/bin/sh

if [ "$UID" != "0" ]; then
echo The Zend Platform installation requires root privileges.
echo Please login as root, and run:
echo /home/name/ZendStudio-5.5.0/scripts/splatform_install.sh
echo Press ENTER to continue...
read dummy
exit 0
fi
[ ! -d "/home/name/ZendStudio-5.5.0/tmp" ] && mkdir "/home/name/ZendStudio-5.5.0/tmp"
cd "/home/name/ZendStudio-5.5.0/tmp"
"../bin/bzip2" -d < "/home/name/ZendStudio-5.5.0/packages/ZendPlatform-Linux.tar.bz2" | tar xvf -
cd "/home/name/ZendStudio-5.5.0/tmp/ZendPlatform-Linux"
./install --express
cd ..
rm -rf "/home/name/ZendStudio-5.5.0/tmp/ZendPlatform-Linux"
echo Press ENTER to continue...
exit 0

Aha! Now all you need to do is make the first condition true by replacing $UID with 0 like so:

if [ "0" != "0" ]; then

……….

Don’t forget to run as root:

"sudo sh platform_install.sh"

Voila! Gusty Gibbon Ubuntu with Zend Platform 5.5. :
